Running TypeScript in Zerethon IDE
How Run type-checks, compiles and runs your project, the time limit, input and tests.
Runs in Zerethon IDE · TypeScript 7
Official TypeScript documentation ↗
- Run (Ctrl/⌘+Enter) type-checks and compiles every
.tsfile with TypeScript 7 in strict mode, then runs the entry —main.tsby default — with Node.js 22. Make another file the entry with the ▶ button next to it in the explorer. - A type error stops the run with “Compilation failed · nothing was run” and the compiler's messages, each with a file, line and error code (
TS2322, …). - Errors are also underlined while you type, when the TypeScript language server is available.
- A run is stopped after 15 seconds (compiling included). There is no network and project files are read-only (write to
/tmp). - Run tests (Ctrl/⌘+Shift+Enter) compiles once, then runs each
test_*.tsfile. A file passes when it exits with code 0.
