An online IDE for Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C, C++, PHP, Go, Rust, Ruby, Perl, Bash, R and SQL

Zerethon IDE lets you write, run and save code in your browser. Run code without an account, or sign in with your Zerethon account to keep private projects, share them and use Fix Code.

What you can do today

  • Edit multi-file projects with syntax highlighting, tabs and a file explorer.
  • Run programs with Python 3.12, Node.js 22, Java 25, C (GCC 14), C++ (GCC 14), PHP 8.4, TypeScript 7, SQLite 3, Go 1.27, Rust 1.87, Ruby 4.0, Perl 5.40, Bash 5.2, R 4.5, see standard output, errors, exit status and time limits, and stop a run at any time.
  • Provide program input (stdin) before a run.
  • Format code in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C, C++, PHP and SQL, and see type errors while you type in Python and TypeScript.
  • Run a project's test files and see which passed or failed.
  • Query a fresh SQLite database with results shown as tables, and load your own CSV files.
  • Share a read-only link to a saved project, and revoke it at any time.
  • Save private projects and review your recent run history (signed-in users).
  • Open an official sample as your own project: Algorithms.

How your code runs

Each run starts in a fresh, isolated container with no network access, a read-only file system, a limited amount of memory, processes and time, and nothing from other users. When the run ends the container is removed. Runs have a time limit of 10 to 20 seconds depending on the language, and installing packages is not supported.

Your account and your code

Sign-in uses your Zerethon account, the same one you use for other Zerethon products. Your projects are private to you. Your code leaves your projects only when you choose: a share link shows a read-only copy, and Fix Code sends the selected code to Zerethon Workspace's AI for a fix you review before anything changes.

What's next

Next: errors while you type for C, C++, Java and PHP, as Python and TypeScript have today.
